Terms of Use
Last updated: March 1, 2026
1. Purpose
These terms of use (hereinafter "Terms") aim to define the terms and conditions for using the EdenCare application, an app for tracking the growth of plants. By accessing the service, the user unreservedly accepts these Terms.
2. Access to the service
Access to EdenCare is free. A trial mode without an account lets you test all the features of the app before creating an account. Data created in trial mode is stored locally in the browser and is not transferred to our servers.
3. Registration and account
The user can create an account via an email address and a password, or via Google Connect. The user agrees to provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering. They are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and for any activity carried out under their account.
4. Use of the service
The user agrees to use the service in accordance with its purpose: tracking and managing plants. They refrain from any fraudulent, abusive or unlawful use. The user must not infringe the rights of third parties or compromise the security or operation of the service.
5. Data ownership
The user remains the owner of all the content they publish on EdenCare (photos, texts, comments, tracking data). They grant EdenCare a usage license limited to the operation and improvement of the service. The user can export or delete their data at any time.
6. Liability
The publisher makes every effort to ensure the availability and proper operation of the service. However, it cannot be held liable for service interruptions, data loss or any indirect damage related to the use of EdenCare. The plant-care advice provided by the app is given for guidance only and does not engage the publisher's liability.
7. Modification of the Terms
The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of any substantial change. Continued use of the service after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
8. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute regarding the interpretation or performance hereof, the parties will endeavor to find an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
